President and Chief Executive Officer
Ralph Grogan serves as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Bentley Mills, Inc. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the company’s sales and marketing efforts, serves on the board of directors, and leads a dedicated team of more than 300 employees worldwide.
With more than 30 years of experience in the flooring industry, Ralph joined Bentley in January 2013. Prior to Bentley, he served as vice president of business development and strategy for Antron. Before joining Antron, he served as the chief operating officer (COO) of Tandus Flooring. Prior to Tandus, he held various leadership positions, including president of Monterey Carpets, president of Burlington House Floor Accents, and vice president and general manager of Lees Carpets.
Ralph currently serves on the Board of Visitors with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Board of Advisors for the Educational Foundation with the university. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He currently resides in Corona del Mar, California.
Chief Financial Officer
Eric Petty serves as chief financial officer for Bentley Mills, Inc. With more than 20 years of experience in fiscal leadership, Eric oversees the company’s finances, including accounting, strategic planning/forecasting, treasury, purchasing, legal, and information technologies. Prior to joining Bentley in January 2015, he served as a business consultant to several privately held companies in Southern California. Before his role as a consultant, Eric held the position of chief financial officer for Amcor Packaging Distribution, a manufacturer and distributor of industrial packaging products in Buena Park, California. Previous to Amcor, he began his career in accounting for Symons Corporation in Pasadena, California, a manufacturer of concrete forming systems. Eric graduated from University of Redlands with a Master of Business Administration in 1998 and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1989. He currently resides in Huntington Beach, California with his wife and children.
Chief Operating Officer
Jim Harley serves as chief operating officer for Bentley Mills, Inc. A 30-year veteran in the flooring industry, he is responsible for leading the company’s manufacturing efforts, quality assurance practices, and facility management. Jim returned to Bentley in 2013. Prior to his current role, he held the positions of senior vice president of manufacturing for Tandus from 2005 to 2013 and vice president of manufacturing for Monterey Carpets from 2001 to 2005. Jim began his career in flooring at Bentley Mills, spanning 15 years and rising to the level of vice president and general manager. He resides in Corona, California with his wife and son.
Todd van der Kruik
Vice President of Design
Todd van der Kruik serves as vice president of design for Bentley Mills, Inc. He returned to the brand in December 2012. An award-winning product designer, Todd has a worked in the carpet industry for more than a decade. At Bentley, he is responsible for leading a team of talented designers, developing new products and collections, and helping to propel the brand forward to the forefront of design. Prior to his current position, he held leadership positions with Antron and Milliken Contract, as well as senior design positions with both Tandus and Bentley Prince Street. Raised in Southern California, Todd received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art at The University of California, Irvine. He currently resides in Long Beach, California with his wife and two children.
Vice President of Marketing
Sherry Dreger serves as the vice president of marketing for Bentley Mills, Inc. She returned to the brand in 2012. With a 23-year history in the flooring industry, Sherry is responsible for engaging the team in visual branding, product merchandising, marketing efforts, and media communications. Prior to her current position, she has held roles in sales, marketing, and product development for flooring manufacturers across the country. Before her return to Bentley, Sherry served as the North American A&D market manager for Milliken & Company. Raised in Florida, she graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Sherry recently relocated from Georgia to California and resides in Manhattan Beach with her husband and two children.
Vice President of Human Resources
Rose Solis serves as vice president of human resources for Bentley Mills, Inc. With more than 15 years of experience, she joined the Bentley team in 2002. Rose brings decorated expertise to the company’s human resource team, ranging from employee relations, talent acquisition, training and development, compensation, benefits administration, safety, health, wellness, and more. She has established a positive employer-employee relations practice that promotes a high level of morale and engagement. Prior to her current position, Rose held the role of human resource manager for Shaw Industries, where she managed a staff providing all human resource services and programs for 480 employees. She currently resides in Diamond Bar, California with her husband.
